i was converted

not bad, not great, kind of unremarkable. the combat is a little boring, i wish i read the combat guide **before** i finished the game because i wouldve enjoyed the extra decisions i knew i had to make.
I also really like the VHS filter, it makes the darkness way eerier and the game is largely built around it - if i had a nickel for every game that put a pointless pixel filter on the screen, then i wouldn't have a nickel for this game, but i would have a lot of other nickels.

this is a really engaging and fun video game. i love the weird ass art direction, i love beating up weird alien guys, hell yeah,

the art and music are very pretty, but the game isnt super readable (a lot of the Y axis variation is extremely unclear) and the combat isnt super polished. i cant tell if im supposed to use mouse controls or arrow keys, neither feel "right" to shoot with. twwwr has a level of RPG jank, but it's still good, and deserves way more attention
