The title is the problem. Had trouble adding money to my wallet from PayPal, finally succeeded when using a credit card without PayPal. When I try to check out with my wallet, it says "It looks like you've been attempting a lot of purchases in the last few hours. Please wait a while before trying again.".

Whatever your security standards are, letting someone spend money, then blocking them from using it (while you're holding the money you literally let me add a few minutes ago)... that needs to be fixed.

Whatever else happens, If you let someone add money to their wallet, you need to let them spend money from the same wallet literally a minute or two later... *the actual security risk in that situation is adding money to the wallet*. Your security algorithms need to be smarter than that.

here are no valve / steam employees or staff, server techs, steam support, or moderators in this steam related sub-forum. No one in this USER - USER only sub-forum works for valve or steam.

They don't need to do any such thing, and the system is actually fairly smart. Simply put it's just waiting to see if the charge will be reversed. As would be the case if the credit card were stolen. If you don't want to be watched like you might be a card thief. Then don't act the same way a card thief would behave.
