AI slop
Dude im so tired of like 1/2 the comments in many forums are just random bot accounts spewing some AI generated slop with legitimately no substance. I assume they are trying to farm awards or smth? Like what is their purpose lmao. I dont think steam cares either tbh

you know what i think is the real "slop?" everyone misusing and spamming the word "slop"
there is no rule against it, as far as i know

even if there were

what can they really do?

they can run every post through an ai filter that may or may not work

and catch real posts that they will then have to go back and review

we have also seen how slow the filter we already have can be

so i would think adding this check to everyone would be rough all around

we can put those who we see using ai on ignore if we want to

as to their purpose,

who knows

some are legitimately trying to use it to to make their thoughts clear

in their minds, at least

i would not be surprised if some were being trained

and others are just trolling/playing around

the human animal is a mysterious creature

It's not against any of the existing rules, and it's slowly becoming more difficult to prove. If someone posts too many LLM-generated topics, you can always block them.
Use the block function. If they are actually breaking rules, report them.
The chat bots in the CS2 game hub are owned by regular users and have been a plague in that game hub and Valve doesn't really care.

Why this opinion is not popular worldwide is beyond me.

The most tragic aspect is: you can spot that right away. And they don't even offer the decency of disguise. Not an ounce of effort.
Activision tried to use AI on a COD game. It didn't go well for them.

I think it will be highly collectable in the future so you should get as much as you can right now.

It shows that COD has long become a desperate cash cow for a money-hungry and desperate gaming company.
