So yes, I definitely would not recommend using it either.
If you mainly want be anonymous with tin foil hat, just buy steam gift card from your local retailer.

the point is they are a shady company who doesnt list these things such as photo id needed to unlock your account, or that they auto lock your account and want photo id... not everyone has photo id.
and some banks dont allow their cards to be used on steam believe it or not...
nothing to do with me wanting to stay anonymous... i used my own card and i would have had to go into town and go buy the top up cards for steam otherwise and a lot of retailers dont sell them.
i should have went into town or bought the cards online but i didnt want to wait the few days til they arrived.
heres the thing too in case you didnt know.. paysafe charges £5 per month for accounts that are inactive... so theres the scam ... they lock you out of your account and wont refund you and wont close the account, literally stealing your money.
And I'm only talking about simple text input, so nothing to do with ID/uploads or anything like that. That was the reason why i canceled my registration before it came to that.
It’s always annoying when companies think they’re above the GDPR or other related laws. Well, it happened a longer time ago, but the mechanics seem to be the same.
The good thing is, you don't need Paysafe. Not even on Steam.
Photo ID shouldn't be hard to for your own identification.
Anyways yes some banks can provide credit service link to your debit card have to check with your bank, they're easily obtained, and start from age of 16+ as a requirement. Compare to normal credit card have be 18+ with enough income to meet their standards for basic cards.
And last part them taking money, yes not all services are free case, as often come with a catch, example free banks, price could be data they can use, with support funding from others such as government funding program, or etc where believe it, or not they cut corners giving for quality of service, and features compare to others. But anyways all providers have some kind of catch, small, big, or even scummy, but they're not allow to prevent you from knowing their terms and conditions before agreeing, and signing up.
So my advice check your bank, or another see what give you option you want, or consider credit card if possible.
