Steam Support members power abuse.
So we have to endure obvious power abuse by a Steam Support members? :D

Imagine that this fairly new account is a Valve employee as a Steam Support.

https://steamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/profiles/76561199432841937

How does someone with such a lack of experience get such a job?

How is that person now able to give away falsified bans to silence users that want to discuss whatever but covers up for well known trolls that just keep derailing every single discussion? :D

Where is any integrity in this company? :D

Dont forget to come at me with lame name and shame BS. It is hard to point out the person responsible for false bans in discussions without naming him.

I find it funny, how this company is probably only one where if someone will issue you a ban, they are completely "annonymous". :D Why is the Steam Support member issuing bans annonymous? What are they hiding?

Is it so if that person bans you and you file a complaint, the same person can dismiss your complain? :D That is how this works? Totalitarian regime in Valve? :D

They are doing their job anonymously so people don't on a crusade after them. Which is something people already do for much, much less so I tend to agree with that.

Won't discuss much more since I got no clue "why" you got banned. And for all I know it might have been deserved. Like for so many people that comes in here...

Moderators "with experience" is a very rare commodity. It's a thankless and sometimes mentally exhausting job. People don't tend to stay long enough to "gain experience" in any capacity. The ones who survive being a moderator the longest are usually the ones that people hate because they often give up on making the community better in favor of just "doing their job" and clearing reports.

Sounds like you speak from experience.

You realise those Steam accounts are just placeholders for the actual workers to perform their job, right? They're empty shells.

Oh well, there's an answer to that question. They tried the other way around and it went horribly wrong. Like people outside of Steam harassing the families of whoever issued them a ban wrong.

So now that's what you get.

Well, not every moderator was stupid enough to dox himself, though.

Why is it weird?

What I find weird is exposing yourself while you're in such position. Not very wise.

So you are saying those accounts are bots? Those accounts are fake? Steam Support is just a big joke? That is what you are saying?

There is no answer to that question. There is no need for such behaviour and lack of transparency from Valve.

Is it really that hard to understand? Those are the accounts Valve created for the moderators to do their job.

You do know that account isn't likely a personal account right? That the user probably has said account as a holder or to interact with the Steam client?

Steam Support has better things to do than engage in petty forum arguments, they're CS agents and this forum is a small part of their job.

Then why do you still frequent the forums? When you purchase a game here it is for a game license, the forum is simply an added bonus and are not obligated to visit nor post on it. That being said there are other places outside of steam forums you can discuss steam matters and considering most of your post history is regarding vac bans then it would not be difficult for you to find a suitable place to post about that.

Yea otherwise people will SWAT them like they did with the UBISOFT office one time.

They're totally not. Those are work accounts made for the external moderators to access the community.

Seems someone got so fed with cheaters they started spamming conspiracy theories and got reprimanded about that. And now they took it with moderators.

So what you are trying to tell us is that someone can be posting whatever they want on Discussions and then hop onto their Valve Steam Support acc and hand out false bans? They also then can just open your complaint and reject it by posting a copypasta? Could this sound about right?
