As for the police. Nazi symbols are not Illegal in all countries. In the United States where Valve is located it is only restricted in a few states however legal elsewhere else.
It is not smart to name and shame accounts. Mods will take action on you regardless of the reason you are doing it.
Du kannst die Symbole direkt melden, da ist ein Flaggensymbol rechts. Das ist das einzige was du machen kannst.
You can report the symbols directly; there's a flag symbol on the right.
Got it - done
Why would it be reported to the police? Its not a crime
Depends on the country. Would be here in Germany.
Yeah but steam is a US company, and at least one account listed is a US account, and the OP is not in Germany.
If illegal ( in Germany) stuff gets displayed on their platform and if they dont act on it they are still responsible in the eyes of the law and could be fined.
Again though, it doesn't matter if they have an office in Germany. A US user posting on Steam cannot be held liable for breaking laws in Germany just because a company happens to also have an office there.
So there is nothing to report to the police. This isn't about steam being reported, it was about individuals being posted to the police. If the OP wants to report steam to whatever authorities maintain that law then he can see if they want to talk to steam about it, but to the best of my knowledge Germany has never once raised an issue with it before and it would not be hard to find as its not illegal 99% of the world.
In 2020 Steam removed over 200 profiles and groups after complaints from the MA HSH because of Nazi symbolism.

Not to mention how they removed all adult 18+ porn games from the German store since they dont have a age verification system that complies with German youth protection laws and were threatened by the German authorities.
Seems they definitely care about local laws.
Again though, German laws have no bearing on US citizens which is what the OP linked to. It's nice that if they complain it might be removed, but again Germany's laws don't apply to US users using steam just because steam has a building in Germany.
The US has laws about freedom of speech that would conflict with Germany's laws removing that content and if the user is in the US they are subject to US laws, not German laws.
Good to know, bet those were accounts from German users, not US users though, as in the US its not illegal and US users are not restricted from that hence why we have uncensored games with swatiska's and that imagery that are not subject to removal under our law.
