"Steam Scam FAQ"
https://steamhelp.yuanyoumao.com/en/faqs/view/70E6-991B-233B-A37B
Never through random strangers accusing you of anything and making you seek out random accounts pretending to be Steam moderators/admins etc.
Its always going to be a scam of some sort.
If you would like to further experiment on how Steam bans people, you can report their account for attempting to steal from you and observe how slow real Steam moderation is in doing anything on legitimate reports.
In this case, there is no report. It's just a scare tactic. Scams will often use fear to get you to act/react. Legitimate interactions typically don't need to do that.
