hi guys talk to you about american truck simulator banned me
this time said permanently, they said spanning but i don't see how.
i'll ask you.
as far as i know. was following
i want mention names i'll use letters

user a says he's has trouble on this game using xbox controller can any body help
my answer yes i have xbox and can help
step by step in side game issue.
where's the spam.
if american truck simulator problely banned thinking xbox control was a spam.
i don't see how.
i want to see what i said there. but no way to find out. to me
i believe it was unjust and i want something done about it.
if it's a user who reported he's lied.

How old was the thread, how many threads did you do this in?

Were you just searching for old threads that had a specific issue, then just posting the same answer like "I can help." in each one you found?

Or was this an active, front page post?

Not that any of it matters, there's very little recourse for an improper ban.

You can contact Steam Support and ask them to review the ban, but they rarely overturn them.

Banned because you are not allowed to post off topic "BAN RANTS" in the steam forums / Sub-Forums, when you are banned in game hub forums...

Ahhh yes. Another victim. How Steam allows that Hub to do what they do, is anyones guess.

People come here complaining about other hubs, nothing happens to them.

But that one, can't say a word.

People come here complaining about other hubs, nothing happens to them.

But that one, can't say a word.
The other, deleted thread, had more context such as video links about the game "Freespace" not ATS, in addition to other things. :smokeybear:

And so they ban the guy? Looking at his comments, the guy was harmless.

Look we can all give our opinions. He's entitled to his, and me mine. And mine is that is the worst Hub on all of Steam. I've never seen anything like it since.

They apparently hate Americans. The Hub is run by two individuals that are not even moderators, one a foreigner who needs a translator.

One of the real mods himself is a crackpot, at least in my experience.

It's a bad moderation team. As far as the Developers, they post on their "own" property, on their own website, which is where i go being that's where they are.

Don't ask me what the purpose of the Hub even is, if only to bully users. And make excuses whenever they foul up.

Those are my views sir.
They are well within their rights to ban the user. And who's to say he wasn't warned beforehand for being grossly off topic with his FS2 rant.

The ATS forum is perfectly fine, hell it's better moderated than these very boards you like to complain on.

Well apparently Mr Newell gives them that right, and only him. But now, Mr Newell is having to go to Congress to testify as to what he''s allowing here.

Not developers where they may let tripe run riot on their pages as they bully users. Not Moderators who may not at all be qualifies to such.

HE holds the bag, being it is ALL his property :steamfacepalm:

In the deleted thread, OP did mention there were some previous bits.

It's moderated really well. Only seen them remove non-game related things and people with ill-intent from their hubs. Even seen one person on alts trying to continue arguments get perma'd for ban evasion.
