What do you mean by this? Like they all build off of Unreal Engine, as an example?
That is Sekura though. That is one company using their assets. I mean that everything "Adult" on here fundamentally looks the same. It would make sense if everything was made by the same company, but that is not the case. At least literature wise. By literature, i mean Author/Publisher.
There are just a few engines they like to use to create them, yeah.
Any ideas who the Genesis is?
I meant nothing so concrete, no —
Well, if you tag Adult Content as open on your Steam, you should immediately see what i am talking about after the first few games "advertised" on the store.
It's like one person makes/creates all the women(and men's genitals, i guess) and sells them. Whomever decides to make their own story or something, just buys the usage of those assets and uses them for their "game."
It seems like one Developer is making them all and just changing their name alongside the names of the games. That is not the case i am sure, but it seems like it.
This all seems most prevalent with Visual Novels that are not Anime.
Don't know about "Adult" stuff, but maybe there are some cheap assets floating around that everyone uses. These games aren't exactly bringing in a lot of money.
Characters in games tend to be varied, and aside from characters in a franchise appearing in multiple games, characters also vary between games.
I asked for a title to see the engine being used which I can look up and give you the link to all games using said engine.
Like if you take Unity 3D, the base avatar is actually the same across all of the games, its just that once in a game, the clothing (or in this case, digital layering) hides most of it but otherwise all avatars there are the same outright.
There's a long running joke about all of this on Youtube if you search up "I learned 3D animation just to make 1 video" and you'll find a strange collection of dragons to a meme song, but all of those dragons are using the same avatar, just rendered differently, to do the meme as the entire idea of the meme is to display that an avatar is the same across all of the videos, it just looks different and comes rendered vastly different in the end
Sorry. I think a good Genesis to use would be 'Being a ♥♥♥.' Every Visual Novel i see on here seems to have characters that all look like the ones in Being a ♥♥♥. Are they exactly? No. but the similarities spread across all the VN's, it seems.
