Steam opening and instantly closing on Sequoia 15.6.1
Recently bought a MacBook for the first time, and trying to open steam. Installed from the website but every time I try to open it opens and 2 seconds later closes automatically without anything happening. Tried installing and reinstalling multiple times, allowed it in permission but still unable to open, really appreciate any help

When you deleted Steam did you delete the support files in your library too? ~/Library/Application Support/Steam
