Valve is not going to stop updating their client for an old outdated OS that is not updated anymore.

We have 1000's of posts when Windows 7 was dropped and none of them made a difference. So don't expect yours. Also Valve does not read anything posted here.

Go into offline mode. Keep in mind you will not be able to download games, use the store, community features or anything else that requires online.

It is only for MacOS 11.1. My mac is 11.7, and it runs still. If your version is 11.2 or higher, it won't be disabled just yet. EDIT i might be a bit late

why is there no offline installer for steam, some of us dont have the money to buy a new Mac, my Mac cannot be updated anymore & I'm in the extra rare group where I cannot even OpenCore my system due to a missing firmware update which I cannot perform on my Mac as you need a working internal drive which died for me a very long time ago.

and trying to opening up an old iMac is a big no no for me...

Then buy a Windows PC instead. Twice the power for half the price of a Mac. Alternatively look for a used computer that runs or can be updated to latest operating system.

Sadly this. Until Apple fixes their $h!t its not gonna get any better.

I think everything is ok, I thought that steam will close and that i would not be able to play the games but i still can.
