This year's Game awards stele is made of copper... Copper in Latin is "cuprum" which is an obvious origin from another no less Latin word "copium". Copper has an atomic number of 29 in group 11, isn't it too many coincidences and isn't it an obvious hint at the presentation of Half Life 3 which will take place on 29.11...

The pessimist in me sees it never happening, or if they do, it'll turn out to be pretty unimpressive and not live up to the 18 years of waiting. Duke Nukem Forever type stuff.

The optimist in me sees a spectacular and original game (HL Alyx is quite reassuring), which causes a renaissance in Source modding on the new Source 2 engine. Oh how I'd love that.

But I dunno, I stopped investing my hope into it around 2017 or so.

My profile always changes right now, it's Alien & Predator.

Who knows? Maybe next time it'll be Freddy vs. Jason or some 80s action goodness.
