Not a problem. I watched all of Breaking Bad years after it was finished.
Well written female characters like Clarice from Silence of the Lambs or Ripley from Alien are far and few between. I enjoyed those characters quite a bit but they are not what attracted me to the movies. Sci Fi with Alien brought me in and honestly I do not remember what brought me in to Silence of the Lambs but it was not Jodi Foster, it was the hype (marketing) of the movie most likely. Jodie Foster's part was just so well written that it became a memorable character. Both parts were well written, not Wonder Womanish, and enjoyable. Almost all female leads are so poorly written that almost all shows or movies with a female out front I give an instant pass.
I also do not purchase or play video games with female protagonists, I have no interest in them. My wife is currently playing thru the Mass Effect series of games again and I do enjoy watching her have fun playing the female Shepard and I know that she does not enjoy games that force her to play a male character nearly as much. Same thing for me, I cannot relate to playing as a female character or a female lead in shows or movies.
i think women are cool, and i like when they are leads in fiction.
that game might have one of the saddest "10/10 trailers to really awful product" stories of all time. along with the 2016 suicide squad film, which had great trailers but...
I'll be waiting for the sequel...
