-That's the lesson netflix had to learn the hard way. They took several whole years between seasons for no good reason. Once upon a time, a show had 20+ episodes per year. Now it's like 6-8 in 2-3 years. Interest is dead and gone by the time they come back. They also have a cast of young actors that have grown up.
Avatar is sharing a similar fate. They're taking forever between movies and wondering why no one cares about this series anymore.
