As for the actual Trump's Tariffs, they are AI generated and miscalculated (in which testing 3 other AIs all miscalculated in the same way) using Trade in-balance, not actual other countries tariffs (most of which are zero towards America)... including places without any humans but rather penguins.

Therefore a country might be exporting raw minerals to America but not importing much American goods back, either because they don't need them or are too poor to afford it, etc... either way, they are the ones to get slapped with the biggest Trump's Tariff that American companies have to then pay, which normally gets passed on down into the total price tag of the US End Consumer.

This logically could stop those countries trading with America too and just trade elsewhere instead.

Pointless to think about really. At this stage, and with everything that went down, I doubt those who need to realise this the most even have the capacity to do so. We are way past calling this brainwashing... we just reached the polishing part.

It`s a freaking clown show. He just removed 100 of his tariffs on food products because people were getting furious about high food prices.
Basically he antagonized entire world and drove food prices to the ceiling just to pretend that his stupid tariffs are actually doing something.

Trump honestly thought tariffs would encumber other countries, his lack of intelligence prevented him from realizing he's really just hurting us.

I added items and for me it was 9quid shipping, so 10/12 dollars (?)

Why is paying more funny? Tariffs are a tax. Always have been and always will be. Government in fiscal trouble have traditionally boosted revenue with them.

As far as I can tell the Trump admin just tweeted that they're making trade fair again and winning big by... removing their own tariffs.

So he caused the prices of these things to increase for Americans with the tariffs and then he removed the tariffs to bring the prices back to what they already were before said tariffs and called it a deal.

The consumer has to pay for tariffs. The adminstration and their followers tried gaslight everyone into believing that it was a tax that foreign countries had to pay for. They probably took a step back because they would lose the midterms from Christmas shopping lol

It´s also a bit nice for the companies. Like one has a certain price, then a higher price because tariffs, but then, when the tariffs are removed, they keep a slightly higher price - which is still recognized as being cheaper, because people got used to the prices with the tariffs.
