True, I got matched up in PUBG once with a Chinese player who was carrying the team. Suspiciously so. He told me that in China, most people cannot afford gaming PCs, so they go to a cafe and play games. In those cafes, they have cheats already installed, so players will perform better, and pay more to keep playing. No way to turn them off. If one of the accounts used at that cafe gets a VAC ban, they just create another and buy the game again, which is a very small price for the amount of money they earn from paying customers.
There'd be a lot less toxicity in MP matches too. People could just have fun.
Your average Chinese gamer will be arrested if caught using a VPN to access anything outside of the Great Firewall.
How often does a losing Chinese team come back to play another tournament?
