I wish people never paid for console multiplayer so it was never normalized, thanks to them every console needs a sub to play online

I wish people didn't buy low effort microtransactions, normalizing it

I wish people didn't preorder games, so Devs didn't get comfortable releasing unfinished badly ported games

I wish people didn't play GTA online whatsoever so it fizzled out and rockstar didn't turn into a hollow ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

The new GPU's using AI, first adopters were needed to mature the software/hardware. I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so glad I was NOT a first adopter this time, so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ glad.

Call me cynical, but I think the companies would have tried those things anyway. Maybe five years later, sure, but still.
