Weapons, although it is not that great of show. I always wondered why the main star like to cut her hair like an old lady.

I think she's kinda cute in her own special way.

"the neon demon" by nicolas winding refn. you probably have seen his film "drive" with ryan gosling, but i am finding that few folks have seen or even heard of this one.

its a psychological thriller-horror about the model industry. its very surreal and dark, definitely a "under the radar" favourite of mine.

List the ones you’ve already seen, or consider to be “under the radar”, OP.

I loved Jacob's Ladder but I think that's hardly overlooked.

another one, "pi" by darren aronofsky. hes a very famous director now, but this was his first film and its never really talked about much. its a psychological avant garde thriller film, and feels a lot more arthouse than many of his later films like "black swan" or "mother!"

another one, "climax" by gaspar noé. he also directed the very disturbing, famous horror-thriller "irréversible", but this one is less spoken of.

"climax" is a very intense, disturbing psychological thriller. the first half of the film is dedicated largely to characterisation, the second half of the film is one massive 45+ minute single shot take of the madness that begins unfolding.
