You can download the free rules at on their website. And yes, there are pre-made solo campaigns. Just do a quick search, lots to choose from.

Check out BoardGameGeek if you have not heard of it, it is a site dedicated to board games and has an has a active community. You will not find a community who is more knowledgeable about any style of board game, and it is a fairly friendly forums and links to details one various games.

You don't even need dice. There are plenty of free dice roll apps available.

Though, it's not as satisfying as rolling real dice.

I think Call of Cthulhu has a free scenario that is an intro that allows solo play to help learn the format. You'd have to check out their website to see. I know their mechanics are different than D&D, but you use the same dice and the like, so it is just a matter of finding rules you like in a table top game.

hmm yeah thats the issue i have with dice apps. if i use my phone then its not really fated. its just random number generator.
