idk cage definitely hit the sauce while writing the last third of the script. i guess he ran out of ideas or something, but everyone getting super powers and flying around felt so strange.
I bet he was thinking "I love The Matrix" :P
"Heavy Rain" is a classic as a crime story; I'd recommend them both if you enjoyed "Detroit".

i have watched a playthrough of that game before. david cage gets a lot of (rightful) flak for being a tosser of a person and having some strange writing methods, but hes the type of odd eccentric that makes truly unique, strange art.
