I can't see the fps difference at high fps rates
I have a 360hz monitor, and my games often go above 100 or 200 fps but I don't see any difference from below 60 fps.

I am using various methods to increase fps count too, for example afmf which can boost my game from 60 to 120 fps, or lossles scaling that can increase fps count even higher, and still, no difference is seen or felt.

I played with lossless scaling multiplier, first I increased to x2 to get around 120fps, then to x3 to ger 240, finally x4 gave me 360 and still no difference....
I tested it in multiple games

The only times I do see a difference is when the game is choppy or stuttering, for example if game is optimized for 60fps and it drops down to 40 or 30 at times, I can see it. But anything above that and I can't, and I'm not even talking about games that are capped to 60 fps. I increased fps cap for example in nioh2 from 60 fps to 120 and I see no difference.

Maybe you need to get used to extremely high fps so you'll see the difference

I myself see a lot of difference between 60 to 120, but as I've never had a machine that could run a game with more than that, I can't really talk about it
usually, you notice this difference when you play FPS games against OTHER PEOPLE, not against computer
Might not notice it when going up. But dropping down you should.

Below 60 i can see it. Under 120, i can feel it. Framegen and stuff doesnt help the feel either. The input lag is the same.
What kind of mouse are you using? are they online games?

Personally i can make things go super fast at around 140 frames and yet my monitor only supports 75Hz.

I think it's part frames, part ping and part mouse dpi.

Just remember that going too fast actually makes a disadvantage, I had to tune things down for better accuracy in online games.
Eat more carrots.
I was the same way @ 1st. Didn't see or feel any difference between 60 and above. It's like NSLucs (post #1) said; you'll need to get used to it. Here's how...

Keep using high fps for about 2-3 weeks, then switch back to 60fps. You'll feel the difference instantly once you moved the mouse across the desktop screen.

I feel like people like mushrooms because it lowers their refresh rates.

ooo I know what you're talking about, dissociatives too
to the point of making games and movies look jarring

but this is on user-end, not computer-end....

Well, not everyone enjoys that, like me. I'm a strictly high refresh rate individual.

On the computer end, yeah beyond 100 the gains are smaller, but there is some. It's hard to get most games to run that fast with high gfx settings tho, unless they are old. Framegen does help that some now.
Do you have the monitor set to 360hz in the windows advanced display setting?

I can't see the fps difference at high fps rates

Nobody can, but let's continue to let them think they can. Who are we to convince them otherwise?

Gamer No.1: I can see the difference, bro.

Gamer No.2: Wow, you're amazing, dude.

Gamer No.1: Yeah, I can see things at 300fps that even the game developers didn't know existed.

Gamer No.2: Your killin' me, dude.

Diminishing returns of frame time. The frame time difference between 120fps and 360fps is less than 6ms
After 60FPS I don't see any improvement.
