What's our FPS? 🤔
Since we're running in real-time; I'm guessing it's really high?

I find this interesting:

300 fps = Honey bee, wasps, etc...

200 - 300 fps = Tiger and Dragonfly

120 fps = Various birds

100 fps = House cat

60 fps = Lion

30 - 60fps = Human

30 fps = Shark

That is suspiciously very specific and your proof because all the medical journals are saying between 30 - 60 fps.

I can run cs2 at around 500fps

If I am really well rested and in the zone I can see frames render before they're completed which is like 150ms faster than normal

It's incredibly taxing on my brain so I would say I can't do it for more than a few hours before being fatigued. Human eye should definitely see past 60fps. When you get a bunch of adrenaline you can see things happen in "slowed down time". Only way that is possible is " more fps" essentially
Our first person shooter is the highest rated first person shooter in the history of first person shooters.

Ladies and Gentlemen, behold your impending Doom!

people who claim 60 fps or lower have clearly never gamed at above 144 so their opinion does not count, either inferior eyes that cannot see things or just delusional

But what about the body? The fastest human/runner clocked in @ 23.35mph.

A missing 'e' .
Planck time (about 10⁻⁴³ seconds) might be considered the minimum 'frame interval' of reality since no unit of time can be shorter than that. There are surely problems with that idea I'm not clever enough to understand though. Certainly humans won't be able to perceive changes at such a scale.

No that is what movies are shot in.

Indeed I don't know how to explain it but cs2 does render frames and displays them and then they finish rendering and then disappear. It's hard to see this stuff but sometimes in a flow state, time goes by a bit slower in the moment.

Medical journals must be really stupid
Well it’s not medical journalists who say it.

Quick googling.
Some experts will tell you that the human eye can see between 30 and 60 frames per second. Some maintain that the human eye may be able to see much more than that although more research is needed. Visual stimuli are measured in frames per second
I was putting it in terms young minds could understand because eyeballs do NOT see in FPS but images per second which is not like a camera image; thus the eyes cannot see various still images in movement.

If I get really technical, the majority of people here would be confused while lost in translation. :badluck:

The fact is that 24 is a misconception with younger gamer generations which came from, of course, a content creator not a scientist.
