Windows 11 quick scan?

I updated my Win10 to Win11. Twice now, I have received an alert saying I should do a quick scan. Win10 just did them automatically. Is there something I have to set for Win11 to do them automatically?

My searching showed that Win11 will do a virus update 10 minutes before a scan. Maybe the alert will go away and the scan will happen in 10 minutes?

Update: I see a problem. The update is stuck as the last scan being done on 11-1. Even though I just did 2 quick scans manually. I will have to try a full scan later and see if it updates.

OK. I did a full scan and that reset the last scanned date. Will see if it updates as normal now.

Alarms Only also helps so the OS notification system doesn't interrupt your gaming

One reason why I turned this crap off. It can also crash games in my case.

Then you don't have it setup properly is all.

Set things like Defender Exclusions up so your Steam, Games or Steam Librsry root folder is excluded from scans.

Enable of Game Mode should also help put a pause on Windows Updates and Defender during gaming

Defender is fine, it runs in real-time and on a tight schedule. Those Notifications really made me mad though, always interrupting me.
