Man the A500 is the computer I have the fondest memories of out of any computer ever owned, because I was a kid I guess.

Well, it was also CRAZY advanced for its time. Not only for its multitasking (Workbench). In particular in terms of graphical+sound ability.

As progress was a lot faster than it is nowadays, that edge only lasted a couple years though. And the Amiga only reached the mainstream with the A500, years after the platform's actual launch. Still blew me away when I saw (and heard) this.

i have an amiga 500 myself but, i have not used it for a while, because it was put in storage. windows 7 i am currently using. i have 2 pcs with windows 7 that is frequently used and one is used most of the time.

Years ago when i used Win 7 i managed to debloat it to 680MB RAM utilization. But Rise of the Tomb Raider stuttered a lot on my old 4GB RAM laptop . it was unplayable . I installed Win 10 . No stuttering at all .i finished the game .From that day on i bid farewell to Win 7 .

i have windows 7 64 bit and 16 gigabytes of ram. my first windows 7 pc had only 12 gigabytes of ram however, though i upgraded to 24 gigabytes. though windows 7 home premium can only use 16.

Win 10 has better mem management than 7 . and Win 11 25H2 than 10

windows 10 have kernel level memory leaks. on one of my windows 10 pcs, i had 16 gigabytes of ram but, half of it was used up by the kernel. that never happens in windows 7.
