add custom amounts to steam wallet

its frustrating how limiting adding money to your steam wallet is, please add a feature to be able to add a custom amount of money to your steam wallet 5-10-20-25-50-100 is so limiting just have a button for me to be able to add any amount i want rather than just pre-selected amounts it frustrates me because sometimes i want to add a very specific price, and the only way to do that is to have stuff in my cart that equals the value i want to load to my steam wallet and cancel the transaction just to have that specific amount of money, just allow me to add custom amounts it shouldn't be too much work and would be a huge quality of life, its insanely frustrating having to manage the money i load in that way.

How are you paying for these wallet funds? Why not skip the wallet and just use the FOP directly to purchase games for the exact price?

i use my wallet for a bunch of things sometimes unrelated to games purchases and other times i only want to do a single transaction because banks get pissy when you do more than 1 at a time and i hate the phone tag with your bank trying to tell them "yeah im not being scammed it was me thanks" when i could just do a single transaction for some random amount like 39.99 or some ♥♥♥♥, or even like a few hundred, its annoying that i'd have to do increments of 100$ in that case, or 20 and a 10 or whatever combination i'd need and its needlessly frustrating to have to juggle transactions in that way.

I think I misunderstood your work around. Honestly, people have wanted this for as long as Steam Wallet existed. Valve isn't unaware or clueless, it just seems like they don't want to. So workarounds may be your only option.

yeah my bad i worded it poorly, basically it goes like this, you want a specific amount added to your wallet that you can't add specifically with the choices available like 10-20-25 etc, so instead of doing multiple transactions on steam to load that specific amount what you do is, fill your cart until you hit the value you want then add funds to cover the amount but cancel the final transaction so your wallet has the amount you want, i usually do this with microtransactions but you can do it in the steam cart with games too, i'd love to just be able to load a single amount with a one time transaction on the add funds page but you cannot and i do not understand why.
