This is technically Valve's 3rd entry.
Valve had a collab with HTC to help make the Vive back in 2015, a decade ago.
The Index in 2019.
And the Steam Frame 2026.
You've used the Steam Frame? And you know the price of it, which Valve hasn't announced yet?
You said...
... which was completely incorrect.
Some stories are better left unfinished.
I think "sometimes dead is better" is a better way to put it anyways (pet Semetary quote).
But whether something is left unfinished or ends poorly, it similarly disincentivizes me to start something. Never going to start watching Game of Thrones or reading A Song of Ice and Fire.
It depends on how well you can divorce the parts from each other. Examples I gave I don't; Dune though, I just read the first book and I'm good.
EDIT: Although for the Half-Life series specifically I did not play them at the time they came out , and was motivated to go back and play them out of historic curiosity.
You don't have to be stupid and wasteful, just smarter than the average bear. Which is why I'll be buying my Steam Frame with wallet earned from selling cases etc, just like I did when I got my Steam Deck and Dock.
