Why am i unable to ignore (not interested) demos no more?
i used to have EVERY item on steam ignored, in my library and/or wishlist, but now the demos are coming back no matter how many times i ignore them which makes distinguishing newer demos from older ones ive already viewed a pain in the aςς.. also it just slows scrolling, because i need to be careful not to misclick them and if i have infinite scrolling on, it just lags from the avalanche of demos

Same problem here. No matter how often a demo is ignored it is shown again next time. And this although it is indeed marked to be ignored as I can see visiting the shop-page.

Steam no longer fully hides demos even if ignored. It’s due to recent store changes.

Look we cant stop steam change, when junk game and demos now has been compare to relesed games.

but you can tag hentai and example VR to exclude, and add Language as a issue, you cant stop games you can read, but you same time get ride of them you cant read. ( even this help alot)

And you most have other issue because lag in top of this, has nothing to do with content.

imo you should also lag with release content before the change, or this just trigger it.

Have you reduce steam resource usage steam have many settings,
we have seen ppl with dual GPU card issue and turn off web view in browser view help alot of ppl before.

And "Hide ignored items!" moat have check box selected. in steam settings store menu.

if those settings dont work try clear cache and delete web userdata

ps
try steam flush cmd ( google how to do, if needed. )
