2 games on 2 pcs but same account.
I want to play my crappy idle games on my crappy old pc in the background, while playing more demanding games on my modern pc. Is there any way to achieve this?

Steam says it will disconnect the session from the other pc if I run a game on my new pc.

Try create a Steam family, because you cant play with the same account at the same time in different pc

Switch one of the clients to offline mode.
