When I do as you described, I get a window with the following message:
"No streamed game could be found for your account on the local network.
What does that mean?
you haven't mentioned what's going on with the app.
is it hanging, not responding, won't run or the window won't render or open and close?
could be an system file issue
could be a virus and won't let go of a resource while you work in the steam folder and play games.
have you tried to uninstall it cleanly with revo uninstaller?
I can see that “Steam Client WebHelper” (6), “Steam Client Service (32-bit), and ”Steam (32-bit)" are running in Task Manager.
There is no window or program icon in the lower right corner.
I just removed Steam with Revo Uninstaller and deleted everything that was listed.
I reinstalled Steam, but without success. The result is the same.
- tried clearing the appdata and relaunching
- tried killing steam in task manager and relaunching
- tried running as admin
- tried updating to windows 25H2
- tried updating graphics drivers
- tried to run `netsh int tcp set supplemental internet congestionprovider=ctcp` in powershell as admin (+reboot)
- tried to run `steam://open/main` through run dialogue
- tried windows 8 compatibility mode
- tried a clean uninstall+reinstall of steam
Nothing worked, and now all my games are uninstalled.
Any luck on your end?
