HOW TO FIX the most common two bugs!
I've seen a lot of people wonder how to fix the bug that your game simply crashes and how the robot in the first level works. Here's the solution!

To fix the crashing you must "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" on Steam. This can be done by right-clicking your game in the Library and selecting "Properties". The you have to select the "Local files" tab and click the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" button.

To fix the robot you must turn "Vertical Sync" on. This can be found in the in-game option menu under Options>Video Settings>Vertical Sync: On.

There you have it. Those two things will save you a lot of time and stress!

Hey, my girlfriend and I have been playing this game for a few weeks now, never had any problems with crashes until today. We boot up the game and everything is working as it should, until we are actually in game and able to move around the Batcave. Our FPS drops to around 25-27 and it crashes shortly after, or I try to mess with the graphics settings to get a better FPS and as soon as I hit accept it crashes. I already verified the game cache a couple of times and no change. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I've done the Verify Integrity of Game Cache thing and i am still having game crashes every 20 minutes or so, it does not seem to matter what Level i am on either any ideas?

@Mordorax Thanks for the fixes. Both fixes worked for me. My game has not cashed since and before it was crashing all the time. The Vertical Sync fix also helped to fix other issues in the game. I found before the fix that I was not able to jump on certain surfaces in the game.

@gmdmb3 As I said the above fixed the crashes for me but you could also try turning off enhanced graphics, running in comparability mode as admin and reinstalling DirectX from the game folder.

I agree with highflyis.

Haven't tested this as I uninstalled it out of crash frustration: I've read that turning off ENHANCED GRAPHICS in settings and ensuring video drivers are up to date can fix the crashes.

See if that works.......... I'll be coming back to this game in a short while and testing the above approach myself. I used to get random crashes to the desktop with no error message. Just a "clean" crash.

i had alot of trouble with the car not moving and the reason for it not moving was the frame rate. turning off v sync will work for some people but did not for me. i decided to do my own troubleshooting and found if i edit the frame rate max on my Nividia control panel to 28 (lower than 30) then i was able to move the car with ease.

Thank You so much, it really worked and I was able to move on from the second level with my brother withouth crashing every 10 mins.

if anyone is having problems just run in combability mode to fix the crashes . and for the the robot bug lower youir fps to 28 in nvidia control panel

SOLVED, you have to put on vsync in your video card

I'm playing the game on Epic Store so I didn't have the option of verifiying the integrity of the cache. In my case activating vsync solved both problems. Thanks!
